Terms of use
Last updated: 19 May 2026
These terms govern your access to and use of the Teddy Sure website at teddysure.com and related services. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
About our service
Teddy Sure provides an online platform to obtain quotations and purchase temporary motor insurance in the United Kingdom for defined periods (from one hour up to 30 days, subject to product rules). Cover is subject to acceptance, underwriting criteria, and the wording of the policy documents issued to you.
Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 17 years old (or the minimum age required for your licence type)
- Hold a valid UK driving licence (or other licence type we accept)
- Provide accurate and complete information in your quote and application
- Use the site only for lawful purposes in the United Kingdom unless we state otherwise
Providing false or misleading information may void cover and could amount to fraud.
Quotations and contracts
A quotation is not an offer of insurance until payment is accepted and a policy is issued. Premium, excesses, limits, and exclusions are set out in your schedule, certificate, and policy wording. You are responsible for reading these documents before you drive.
Payments
Payments may be processed by third-party providers (including Gumroad). By paying, you authorise the charge shown at checkout. Refunds are handled in line with applicable law and our policy terms; contact support@teddysure.com for assistance.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy, taxed, and (where required) has a valid MOT
- Comply with UK road traffic law and policy conditions while insured
- Notify us of material changes that could affect cover
- Keep login, email, and verification codes secure

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
